Under lockdown, our hall has undergone a massive clean up and it’s looking amazing!
It’s fair to say that over the years, the hall has become a little grungey (to put it politely) but now it’s like it’s brand new again.
The main hall has been cleaned and the floor polished, the kitchen and toilets have been thoroughly scrubbed, and as a final highlight, the centre circle around which the Cubs and Joeys gather has been repainted.
Well done to our committee chair Klara for organising and overseeing this incredible job.

Scouting life is underway for a new decade at 9th Brunswick and 2020 began with a traditional ‘going up’ ceremony for five Cub Scouts.
Our group’s first fundraising event of the year is locked in as a sausage sizzle outside the Brunswick Woolworths supermarket in Albert Street, next to the Upfield railway line.
There’s nothing like the sight and smell of a freshly cut Christmas tree to get you in the festive spirit.
Sixteen of our Cubs had a great sleepover in the hall last Friday night, and another six are set to do the same thing this Friday.

Every year in August, 9th Brunswick Scouts holds its Annual Report, Awards and Presentations dinner in the Scout hall. This year’s event was held on Saturday, August 11.
